Hyundai Motor Company is gearing up to expand its car lineup in India with a mix of electric vehicles, hybrid models, and a new three‑row SUV.
A compact electric car aimed at city commuters is expected to arrive by late 2026, offering an affordable and eco-friendly option for urban buyers. Alongside this, Hyundai is introducing hybrid versions of popular SUVs such as the next-generation Creta, combining fuel efficiency with performance.
On the larger side, a new three-row SUV is in development, positioned between the Alcazar and Tucson. This family-oriented SUV is likely to launch around 2027, featuring premium interiors and possibly hybrid powertrains.
These moves reflect Hyundai’s strategy to cater to the growing demand for greener, efficient, and spacious vehicles in the Indian market, giving customers more options across electric, hybrid, and traditional SUV segments.
