Chabi has partnered with Hyundai Motor Company to launch a special EV charging subscription for Hyundai customers. This new service will start in May
This collaboration was launched to lead the mobility ecosystem of the 1st million EV era by improving access to charging infrastructure and alleviating the burden of usage fees. According to statistics from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, as of March 2026, the cumulative number of EVs sold in Korea reached 1,020,094, surpassing the 1st million mark. The penetration rate of EVs among newly registered vehicles in March stood at 25%.
Sales in the first quarter of this year reached 87,665 units, setting a record high, and annual sales are projected to reach approximately 400,000 units. The exclusive subscription product offered by Chabi targets customers who take delivery of new vehicles in 2026, with benefits applied regardless of the delivery timing. Subscription fees are set at 19,900 won or 9,900 won per month, and enrolled customers can use Chabi’s ultra-fast and fast-charging networks at discounted rates for the remainder of 2026.
The plan offers some useful benefits. Customers can charge their EVs at a lower fixed price, get discounts when buying charging credits, and also receive coupons for car wash services at Chabi stations.
