Hyundai Motor India has significantly strengthened its commitment to sustainable mobility by scaling up its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The company announced that it has expanded its network to 119 EV charging stations nationwide, delivering over 23 million units of energy to power electric vehicles.
This expansion is part of Hyundai’s broader strategy to support India’s growing EV adoption by providing reliable and accessible charging solutions. The network includes public fast-charging stations, community charging points, and charging facilities at Hyundai dealerships, ensuring that EV users have convenient access across major highways, urban centres, and emerging EV hubs.
Hyundai stated that the milestone reinforces its vision of building a strong EV ecosystem in India. By enabling over 23 million units of clean energy usage, the company has helped reduce carbon emissions significantly while lowering the operational costs for EV owners.
A Hyundai spokesperson emphasised that the company remains committed to scaling up charging infrastructure to match the accelerating adoption of electric vehicles in India. “Our mission is to make EV ownership seamless by ensuring a robust, accessible, and future-ready charging network,” the spokesperson said.
With India’s EV market witnessing rapid growth, Hyundai’s expanded charging footprint marks a decisive step toward supporting nationwide electrification goals and advancing the country’s transition to clean mobility.
