Hydra Electric has unveiled its high-performance electric scooter, Hydra EZ, marking a significant step for India’s electric mobility segment. Pre-bookings are set to begin on April 15, with the official launch scheduled for June 2026.

Dubbed the “Tesla of EV scooters in India,” Hydra EZ is designed to deliver a combination of speed, range, and technology-driven features for modern commuters. The scooter is expected to reach a top speed of 125 km/h and offer a real-world range of up to 250 km on a single charge, addressing key concerns such as urban commuting efficiency and range anxiety.

The scooter incorporates regenerative braking, which recovers energy during deceleration and returns it to the battery, improving overall efficiency. Hydra EZ also features a built-in onboard charger, allowing riders to recharge directly from standard power outlets without the need for additional equipment.

A standout feature of the scooter is its “Ride N Earn” concept, which incentivizes riders based on usage while tracking environmental benefits like carbon credits. Further details on this innovative program are expected at the official launch.

Fahad Hafiz, founder and CEO, emphasized that Hydra EZ is part of the company’s vision to create practical, sustainable, and rewarding mobility solutions for Indian riders.

The launch of Hydra EZ reflects a broader trend in the electric two-wheeler market, with a growing focus on performance, user experience, and smart features alongside sustainability. With its combination of speed, range, and advanced technology, Hydra EZ positions Hydra Electric as a strong contender in India’s EV scooter market.
