Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has officially introduced the all-new N-ONE e:, a compact electric vehicle (mini EV) designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable, urban-friendly mobility in Japan. With a certified WLTC range of 295 km (183 miles), the N-ONE e: is being marketed as an everyday partner for city and suburban commuters.

Built on Honda’s signature “man maximum, machine minimum” (M/M) design philosophy, the N-ONE e: combines the iconic style of the N-ONE series with advanced electric vehicle technologies. The EV features a floor-mounted battery pack that ensures a spacious cabin for four adults while lowering the centre of gravity for improved driving stability.

Key highlights of the N-ONE e: include:

      • Dual trims: the entry-level e:G and the premium e:L, with the latter offering a 9-inch infotainment display and fast-charging support.

      • Charging performance: rapid charging enables the battery to reach 80% capacity in about 30 minutes, while standard AC charging takes approximately 4.5 hours.

      • Energy solutions: equipped with vehicle-to-home (V2H) functionality and external power output up to 1,500 W, enabling the car to act as a backup power source.

      • Single-pedal driving mode for convenience and efficiency in stop-and-go traffic.

On the safety front, the mini EV integrates the Honda SENSING suite of driver-assist technologies, including Traffic Jam Assist and Post-Collision Braking, to enhance road safety.

Sustainability is another strong focus for Honda, with the N-ONE e: incorporating recycled and bio-based materials in components such as bumpers, floor mats, and dashboard trims, underscoring the brand’s environmental commitments.

The N-ONE e: will be available in a variety of colour options, including a new “Cheerful Green” shade. Pricing in Japan starts at ¥2,699,400 for the e:G variant and ¥3,198,800 for the e:L variant, inclusive of consumption tax.

Honda’s latest launch marks another step toward its carbon neutrality goals by 2050, with the N-ONE e: positioned as a key product in expanding the company’s EV lineup for everyday users in Japan.
