According to WMTC regulations, there are two Honda E-VO models available, with a range of 120 and 170 km.
Honda type-approved the E-VO electric motorcycle (WH8000D) in China in April 2025. The Wuyang-Honda brand is now being used to launch the E-VO. In China, Honda and Guangzhou Motors Group Company have a joint venture that uses this label. Let’s examine the Honda E-VO electric motorcycle’s specifications.
Features and styling of the Honda E-VO
The Honda E-VO quickly captures attention with its unique cafe-racer appearance in a futuristic style. The round headlamp, curved windscreen, bar-end mirrors, one-piece seat and totally enclosed side panelling are some of the main features. The bike has semi-slick tires and alloy wheels measuring 16 inches up front and 14 inches down back. With a seat height of only 765 mm, users may anticipate superior handling and control.
Because of its forged all-aluminum frame, the Honda E-VO is a lightweight and durable motorcycle. The motorcycles’ resistance to corrosion and other adverse conditions is further enhanced by the aluminium metal. The tech kit comes with a 7-inch TFT main screen and a TFT sub-panel for music, navigation, and other information, including battery life and tyre pressure.
While the top variant has both front and rear dash cams, the base variant just has a front dash cam. These can record your travels and special moments in 1080p. The traction control system, Type-A and Type-C charging connections, dual-channel ABS, side stand motor turn off, inverted front forks, and a 5-step adjustable brake handle are further noteworthy features.
Honda E-VO: Specifications, performance, range, and battery
As far as pricing goes, the base Honda E-VO model costs CNY 29,999, or roughly Rs 3.56 lakh.” At CNY 36,999, or around Rs 4.39 lakh, the premium option with the triple battery pack is offered. Only the Chinese market currently has access to the Honda E-VO electric motorcycle.
Customers have a choice between two versions: one with a 4.1 kWh battery pack and the other with a 6.2 kWh device. These variations have respective kerb weights of 143 kg and 156 kg. According to WMTC specifications, the claimed range is 120 km and 170 km, respectively. While the top variant has a triple battery configuration, the base variant uses a dual battery setup.
The power output of both Honda E-VO models is 15.8 kW (21.5 PS). The bike has a silent, maintenance-free Continental belt drive with a 97% gearbox efficiency and a mid-mounted motor. Using the Eco, Normal, and Sport ride modes, users may personalise their experience. The top speed of both versions is 120 km/h. You can go from 0 to 50 km/h in 2.8 seconds.
When utilising a home charger (1.8 kW charger), the base model can be charged in under 1 hour 30 minutes (20% to 80%). This is a really excellent charging speed. One advantage is that any public AC auto charger (3.4 kW) can be used to charge the Honda E-VO. In essence, this makes it possible to charge at over 2.15 million public AC car charging stations located across the Dragonland.
The basic version just takes about an hour to get from 20% to 80% when using an AC car charger. With the AC car charger, the top model with the bigger battery pack requires one and a half hours. Honda uses cutting-edge lithium battery packs, which have demonstrated the ability to maintain over 85% of their capacity even after 1,500 cycles of full charge and discharge.
