Hindustan Zinc has also begun the deployment of LNG-powered cars, with the goal of building a fleet of 180 such vehicles. The company is making progress toward attaining net-zero emissions across the value chain by FY2050, in line with the 1.5°C trajectory, with the deployment of EV Trucks. The company’s sustainability policies have garnered global acclaim, with the metal and mining sector ranking third globally and first in the Asia Pacific Region in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment 2022.
