Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has expanded its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of the VIDA Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant. The new model, part of the rapidly growing VIDA VX2 lineup, was unveiled by Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, marking another milestone in India’s transition toward accessible and sustainable electric mobility.
The launch of the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant reinforces VIDA’s mission to democratize electric mobility under its “Ghar Ghar Evooter” vision—aiming to make electric scooters practical, affordable, and convenient for every Indian household.
Enhanced Range, Performance, and Everyday Utility
Building on the success of the existing VX2 models, the new Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant is engineered for Indian commuters seeking extended range and higher performance. It features a dual-removable-battery system that delivers a real-world range of up to 100 km per charge, along with peak power of 6 kW and 26 Nm of torque.
Riders can choose between Eco and Ride modes to optimise performance, while a top speed of 70 km/h ensures confident urban commuting. Designed with comfort and practicality in mind, the VX2 Go offers a flat floorboard, spacious seat, 27.2-liter under-seat storage, and suspension tuned for Indian road conditions, making it suitable for both individual and family use.
Innovation for the Everyday Rider
Speaking on the launch, Ms Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer – Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp, said:
“VIDA has always stood for progress — combining innovation with functionality to enrich the lives of Indian riders. The new Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is crafted for those who value range, efficiency, and reliability in their daily commute. It reflects our unwavering commitment to advancing sustainable mobility and empowering India’s journey toward a cleaner future.”
Affordable and Flexible Electric Mobility
VIDA continues to make EV ownership more attainable through its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, allowing customers to subscribe to batteries instead of purchasing them outright. This approach significantly lowers upfront ownership costs and offers flexible charging, maintenance, and replacement options.
The VIDA Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is priced at INR 102,000, with Battery-as-a-Service plans starting at INR 60,000 and a pay-per-kilometer cost of INR 0.90.
Supporting this rollout is VIDA’s expanding nationwide ecosystem of 4,600+ charging points and 700+ service touchpoints, ensuring riders enjoy seamless service and charging convenience across India.
Complete VX2 Portfolio for Every Rider
With the introduction of the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh, VIDA’s VX2 range now includes the VX2 Go 2.2 kWh, VX2 Go 3.4 kWh, and VX2 Plus—catering to a broad spectrum of Indian riders, from urban commuters to performance enthusiasts.
Available across VIDA dealerships starting November 2025, the expanded portfolio underlines Hero MotoCorp’s dedication to making electric mobility mainstream through innovation, accessibility, and trusted service.
