Hero MotoCorp, the biggest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer in the world, sold 679,091 units in October 2024, an 18% increase over 574,930 units sold in the same month the previous year. Strong demand from both urban and rural markets, particularly in the 100cc and 125cc classes during the holiday season, was credited with this development.

With 8,750 units sold in October 2024, Hero MotoCorp’s electric car brand, VIDA, saw its biggest monthly dispatches to date. ‘Shubh Muhurat Aaya, Hero Saath Laya,’ the company’s Grand Indian Festival of Trust (GIFT) campaign, featured alluring deals that helped boost sales throughout the holiday season. With double-digit growth over the prior year, the corporation reported its highest-ever Dhanteras revenues.

With aims to reach 100 Premia locations by March, the firm has been growing its network of premium dealerships, now operating over 50 in as many cities. In order to improve accessibility to its premium product portfolio, which includes Hero MotoCorp, VIDA, and Harley-Davidson goods, Premia opened nine new stores in various locales in October.

Virat Kohli, an international cricket player, was featured in the company’s new Hero Xtreme advertising campaign. The Xtreme 125R and Xtreme 160R 4V motorcycles were featured in the campaign, which was filmed by German director Oliver and centered on the brand’s “Challenge the Extreme” motto. The setting was London.

Hero MotoSports became the first Indian manufacturer to win the 2024 FIM World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC), marking a significant accomplishment. Ross Branch’s steady play throughout the season was crucial to winning the title and establishing the business as one of the major international rivals.
