      375 E-Buses Planned to be Added in Haryana Roadways

      Promoting a sustainable ecosystem for e-mobility adoption, Haryana Roadways has announced to purchase 375 electric buses for its fleet.

      Haryana RoadwaysThis will enable the company to offer affordable, safe, convenient, and environmentally-friendly public transport services for the citizens.

      The purchase of buses was approved at the meeting of the High-Powered Purchase Committee, and the Department High Powered Purchase Committee, which were presided over by Chief Minister Manohar Lakh Khattar.

      The meeting was attended by Kanwar Pal, Ranjit Singh Chautala, J P Dalal, and Mool Chand Sharma.

      The Haryana government launches its electric vehicle (EV) policy in November 2022.

      There are 12 schemes under the policy including electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
