The strategic relationship for two-wheeler lubricants between Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd and Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd, a division of the Italian auto giant Piaggio Group, has been extended. Originally inked in January 2020, the exclusive partnership has been extended until 2032, reaffirming both businesses’ dedication to provide premium co-branded lubricants that are specific to Piaggio’s two-wheeler lineup.

Gulf Oil will continue to be Piaggio India’s official lubricant partner under this deal, providing factory fill and workshop services as well as serving retail markets in India and a few export markets. In the commercial vehicle market, Gulf Oil and Piaggio are still working together to provide cutting-edge lubrication solutions for a variety of vehicle types.

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited’s MD and CEO, Mr. Ravi Chawla, expressed enthusiasm for the renewal by pointing to the partnership’s track record of producing cutting-edge lubricants that improve engine performance and dependability. He reaffirmed Gulf’s leadership in the Indian lubricants industry and underlined the company’s dedication to the expanding superbike market and emphasis on providing clients with outstanding value.

Gulf and Piaggio have collaborated to create cutting-edge engine oils and coolants for scooters, motorcycles, and high-performance sports bikes from the partnership’s beginning. This constant quest for innovation and performance enhancement includes fully synthetic lubricants, which are presently undergoing testing. These solutions are made to fulfill environmentally friendly criteria while maximizing engine durability and efficiency.

Customer-centric solutions, state-of-the-art technologies, and ongoing investments to support channel partners will be given top priority in the reestablished partnership. By pooling their knowledge, Gulf Oil and Piaggio hope to revolutionize the two-wheeler business by redefining industry norms for product innovation and service quality.
