Greaves Cotton Limited, a leading engineering company with over 165 years of legacy, has partnered with Ligier Group, one of Europe’s most recognized manufacturers of light and heavy quadricycles, to supply Euro V+ certified 499cc REVO D+ diesel engines for Ligier’s JS50 and Myli microcar models. This strategic collaboration reinforces India’s position as a trusted global supplier of advanced, regulatory-compliant automotive technologies.
The 499cc REVO D+ single-cylinder, 4-stroke diesel engines are designed and manufactured at Greaves Cotton’s state-of-the-art facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. With electronic fuel injection, these compact engines produce 6.0 kW of power at 3,000 rpm and 26 Nm of torque between 1,800 and 2,200 rpm, ensuring exceptional fuel efficiency, low noise-vibration-harshness (NVH), and high performance for microcars.

The engines have been integrated into Ligier JS50 and Myli microcars sold across France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Latvia, Greece, Lithuania, Estonia, and the Czech Republic.
