More than 100 firms from a number of countries, including the USA, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, and India, are expected to participate in the Bharat Battery Show, which is a component of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The event, which will take place in the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from January 19–21, 2025, is anticipated to draw over 500,000 visitors from more than 50 nations.
With assistance from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) is organizing the event, which will highlight advancements in the energy storage and mobility industries. Among other things, it will highlight advancements in lithium-ion batteries, battery parts, charging infrastructure, battery management systems (BMS), and recycling techniques. The occasion is regarded as a critical milestone in establishing India as a major force in the global market for energy storage and mobility.
As a major industry partner, the IESA will host the event and showcase India’s advancements in clean mobility, sustainable energy solutions, and battery technology. IESA will host two pre-conference events in addition to the Bharat Battery Show: the India Battery Recycling & Re-Use Summit (IBRRS) on January 18, 2025, and the 4th India Battery Manufacturing & Supply Chain Summit (IBMSCS) on January 16–17.
Several businesses will introduce new innovations at the event. For example, PolyProticChemicals will introduce MetScav 90, an extractant based on phosphinic acid that is used to separate nickel and cobalt from spent lithium-ion batteries. The Blaze DC fast charger for two-wheelers, which provides up to 35 km of energy in just 15 minutes, will be introduced by Bolt Earth, one of India’s top EV charging networks.
