      High-Speed Ampere Primus & Zeal EX E-Scooters Unveiled

      Greaves Cotton Limited’s EV arm, Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL) has made its debut in the high-speed electric two-wheeler segment with the launch of Ampere Primus at INR 1,09,900 (ex-showroom price).

      Ampere Primus Greaves’ latest, all-new scooter offers optimum safety with LFP battery pack, improved performance with a PMS motor, belt drive, and smart connected cluster for seamless navigation.

      Primus is an ideal electric scooter for customers looking for a superior experience in styling, performance, comfort & reliability. It continues to embody the company’s ‘Make-in-India’ thrust, with a high degree of localization with domestically sourced components.

      Commenting on the occasion, Sanjay Behl, Executive Director, and CEO, of Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited, said, “Primus is a flagship electric scooter from Ampere which is perfectly suited for multiple usage needs of any Indian family. Thoughtfully crafted and affordably priced, Primus has a very high appeal for modern millennial commuters with discerning taste. It blends the finest aspects of safety, durability, performance, comfort, enhanced styling, and smart connectivity features. With Primus we will not only strengthen Ampere’s leadership in the electric last-mile mobility segment, but we will also appeal to a much wider range of consumer segments.”

      Greaves Electric Mobility also introduced the new Ampere Zeal EX, an entry-level, sporty e-scooter designed to create a comfortable and smooth city riding experience for the youth. The new Zeal EX will be debuted at an attractive price point of INR 69,900 (ex-showroom price) in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. Furthermore, buyers can avail of benefits of up to INR 6000. The benefits are valid till 31st March 2023.

      The new Zeal EX is a sporty electric scooter. Its youthful style with sporty decals, and dual-tone colour makes it an aspirational product for the young generation.

      The Zeal EX, which has a certified high range of 120 km, will be equipped with a CAN-enabled Lithium-ion Battery, a large battery pack, multiple ride modes, a side stand sensor, and more. It will be available in three iconic colours inspired by India – Stone Grey, Ivory White, and Indigo Blue.
