It is referred to by Dodge as the “only” four-door muscle automobile in the world. The 2026 model year will see the addition of the four-door Dodge Charger Daytona EV to the lineup, but that’s not the only change.
For 2026, the Dodge Charger Daytona EV will come with a four-door version.
We found out last week that the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T would not be available. “As we continue to assess the effects of US tariff policies, production of the Dodge Charger Daytona R/T has been postponed for the 2026 model year,” CEO Matt McAlear told Motor1.
Dodge appears to have another plan. At a first-drive event in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, the four-door electric Charger made its formal debut.
With the same widebody design, driver-centric interior, muscle car performance, and standard all-wheel-drive capability, as well as four-door practicality, the new sedan “embodies the same look and feel as the coupe,” according to McAlear.
The wide body (the widest of any automobile in the industry) and coupe-like form are shared by the two-door and four-door variants. According to Dodge, the Charger’s formidable presence is further emphasised by its four-door design.
Similar to the two-door variant, the four-door model has the best-in-class back baggage and passenger space thanks to its roomy “hidden hatch” cabin. The four-door model provides 133% greater back storage space than the current Charger, with up to 38.5 cu ft.

The centre of the interior is a 16-inch infotainment system with a 12.3-inch driver display that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Both the two-door and four-door 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack models have Dodge’s Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system, Powershot (which can produce an additional 40 horsepower for 10 seconds at the touch of a button), and many drive modes (sport, track, drag, custom, etc.).
The largest brake package available for any Dodge car is the Track Package. With the addition of 16-inch Brembo vented rotors and red six-piston front/four-piston rear fixed callipers, the swept area is increased by almost 30% over the previous SRT variant.
In just 24 minutes, the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona EV can be fully charged from 20% to 80% using a level 3 charger.
2026 Dodge Charger EV versions with two or four doors will have new “Fratzog dual stripes” and gloss paint hood choices.
Dodge is providing the opportunity to spend a day at Radford Racing School, the official high-performance driving school of Dodge and SRT, for all 2026 Charger models (two- and four-door).
With 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, both versions provide “Hellcat Redeye levels of performance,” enabling a 3.3-second sprint from 0 to 60 mph.
The two-door and four-door 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona EV models are currently available for order and will start to arrive at dealerships later this year.
