Exponent Energy has launched its upgraded EV charging station, the P4 Charger, capable of fully charging electric vehicles in just 15 minutes. This development marks a major milestone in India’s EV ecosystem, aiming to make rapid charging more accessible and reliable for commercial and passenger vehicle users.

The new P4 Charger builds on Exponent’s patented Energy Stack technology, designed to optimise charging speed, battery efficiency, and grid load management. By enabling consistent ultra-fast charging without compromising battery life, the company seeks to address two of the biggest barriers to EV adoption—charging time and infrastructure readiness.

Arun Vinayak, Co-Founder and CEO of Exponent Energy, said,

“With the P4, we are moving closer to making 15-minute rapid charging the new normal across India. Our focus is on building technology that scales with the growing EV ecosystem.”

The company has also emphasised interoperability, ensuring that the P4 station can cater to a wide range of EV models. Exponent Energy plans to deploy a strong network of these chargers across major Indian cities, targeting commercial fleets, logistics operators, and eventually passenger EV owners.

Industry experts believe that such advancements will significantly boost EV adoption by reducing downtime, particularly in urban areas where fleet operators demand quick turnaround times.

With the P4 rollout, Exponent Energy reinforces its vision of creating a robust and future-ready charging ecosystem, strengthening India’s journey toward sustainable mobility.
