EVERTA, an EV charger manufacturing company, announced the launch of its high-performance DC chargers, marking a pivotal step in India’s journey towards sustainable mobility. The company aims to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption by delivering faster and more reliable charging infrastructure across the country.

EVERTA is establishing a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bengaluru which will be operational by Q3 of 2025. The strategic entry aligns with the Indian government’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives. This facility enables localised production of a wide range of high-performance DC chargers, from 60 kW to 320 kW and beyond, catering to diverse EV charging needs, including urban 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers, and heavy-duty fleets like buses and trucks. EVERTA aims to strengthen the domestic supply chain, reduce reliance on imports, and contribute towards a sustainable EV infrastructure and plans for a domestic value addition (DVA) of over 50%, with a goal of 100% localisation over the next few years. The company plans to create 400–450 direct and indirect jobs across manufacturing, deployment, and service sectors.

Benny Parihar, Managing Director, EVERTA, said, “Our entry into the EV charging sector is an important step to support India’s growing shift to electric mobility.” “We’re focused on building charging solutions that are not only reliable but also tailored to Indian conditions and customer needs.” “We see this as a contribution to India’s broader energy and mobility goals, aligned with the Atmanirbhar & Viksit Bharat mission.” “Our aim is simple: to make EV charging easier, better, and more accessible for everyone.”

EVERTA aims to capture a 15% market share of DC chargers by 2030 to power 4 million electric cars, buses, and trucks, which directly supports the government’s target of 30% new EVs on the road. This necessitates a massive expansion of charging infrastructure through strategic partnerships with charge point operators (CPO), fleet operators, and businesses. By 2027, EVERTA plans to manufacture and deploy between 3000 chargers annually, making a substantial contribution to this critical electrification mission.

Manasvi Sharma, CEO, EVERTA, said, “With operations set to commence from Q3 this year, our focus will be to create a robust network of EVERTA DC chargers and its seamless operations.” “Our service-led strategy emphasises unparalleled uptime, user-friendly interfaces, and dedicated support for the customers.” “With the aim to deploy 3000 chargers annually by 2027, we are committed to building a seamless charging experience for every EV user.”

EVERTA has entered into a technology partnership with StarCharge, a global leader in EV charging with over 2 million units deployed across 60 countries, serving major auto OEMs and infrastructure providers. Under the Technology Licensing Agreement (TLA), EVERTA will be manufacturing, commissioning, and providing service support to its DC fast chargers across India.
