In order to install more than 5,000 EV charging stations on public and private networks in the next two years, EVerged, a North American energy technology company, has partnered with AMPECO, a top supplier of EV charging management platforms. The partnership started with EVerged overseeing the public charging network in San Diego, where AMPECO’s platform integrated operations for all municipal EV infrastructure. Over the course of five years, the city will build about 4,000 charge points—2,500 public and 1,500 municipal—as per an agreement that was authorised by the San Diego City Council. The foundation for EVerged’s nationwide development throughout the largest cities in the United States was established by this endeavour.
“Our operational efficiency has significantly increased because of AMPECO’s technology, which provides us with immediate visibility when chargers fail and remotely fixes the majority of problems,” stated Peter Ruzich, COO at EVerged. “We can now scale at the rate the market requires while still offering the dependable charging experience drivers expect.”
The collaboration addresses charging dependability, a significant issue in EV infrastructure. With the help of AMPECO’s platform, EVerged can proactively engage customers with real-time notifications and analytics, remotely monitor chargers in real-time, and fix up to 80% of problems without on-site assistance. In addition to uptime, the platform enables EVerged to leverage stations as marketing assets by providing programmes like free charging to increase usage and brand interaction. EVerged is well-positioned to grow quickly while providing high-performance charging solutions for both AC and DC networks thanks to its sophisticated partner management tools, which include dashboards and reporting that can be customised.
