On June 26, India’s electric vehicle (EV) and auto component stocks witnessed a mixed trading session, reflecting cautious optimism among investors amid sector-specific developments and broader market volatility.

Bosch led the gainers with a strong 1.45% rise to ₹32,215, followed by Tata Motors, which climbed 1.23% to ₹682.75, signaling continued investor confidence in legacy automakers pivoting to electric mobility. Bharat Electronics and Bharat Forge also showed strength, rising 1.00% and 0.90% respectively, as defense-linked and precision engineering stocks stayed resilient.

Exide Industries and UNO Minda posted modest gains of 0.80% and 0.75%, supported by consistent demand in the battery and auto component sectors. JBM Auto, Sona Comstar, and Olectra Greentech also ended the day slightly higher.

On the downside, Exicom Tele-Systems fell sharply by 3.34% to ₹196.19, possibly driven by profit booking after a recent rally. Greaves Cotton, HBL Engineering, and Hero MotoCorp also declined between 0.5% and 0.8%.

OLA Electric Mobility saw a marginal dip of 0.24%, while UNO Minda and Minda Corporation remained nearly flat with minor gains.

The overall trend reflects selective buying in quality names and cautious sentiment ahead of quarter-end portfolio reshuffling.
