On July 15, 2025, Indian electric vehicle (EV) and auto component stocks showed strong positive momentum, with the majority of listed companies recording gains. Out of 18 tracked stocks, 14 closed in the green, reflecting rising investor confidence in the EV sector’s growth prospects.

Hero MotoCorp led the rally with an impressive 4.76% surge, ending at ₹4,454. This gain likely reflects optimism around its EV lineup and growing sales network.

Greaves Cotton followed closely, jumping 4.64% to ₹212.48, boosted by interest in its electric drivetrain business and recent contract wins. UNO Minda also performed well, rising 2.64% to ₹1,105.90, as did Bharat Forge, up 2.35% at ₹1,237.40.

Auto tech and component majors had a strong day—Bosch gained 1.26%, Tata Motors rose 1.47%, and Olectra Greentech climbed 1.25%. These movements reflect positive sentiment around India’s electrification drive and strong demand from the commercial EV segment.

Other gainers included Exide Industries (+0.83%), Minda Corporation (+0.58%), JBM Auto (+1.00%), and Sona Comstar (+0.69%), all key players in battery, electronics, and drivetrain systems for EVs.

However, Ola Electric Mobility saw a sharp decline of 6.31%, closing at ₹44.10. This drop may signal investor concerns over pricing strategy or rising competitive pressure. Smaller dips were noted in Uniparts India (-0.31%), Exicom Tele-Systems (-0.13%), and Amara Raja Energy (-0.09%).
