      Epsilon Carbon Pvt. Ltd. has announced a significant leap towards sustainability by integrating a fleet of electric trucks into its logistics operations. This initiative underscores Epsilon’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sets a benchmark for the industry.

      Epsilon Carbon has introduced a fleet of 5 Electric trucks, marking a major achievement in their commitment to reducing carbon footprint and enhancing the sustainability of its logistics operations. In today’s paradigm shift towards sustainable and environmental solutions, the EV industry has emerged as a catalyst for a cleaner, greener future. India’s EV industry landscape is at the cusp of a remarkable expansion and is expected to grow at a CAGR of around 66% to touch $200 billion industry by 2030.

      Vikram Handa, Managing Director of Epsilon Carbon, said, “India’s road logistics industry plays a vital role in the overall economy, handling 70% of domestic freight. As responsible leaders in the chemical industry, we recognize the importance of integrating sustainability considerations through electric trucks, which shows our proactive commitment to minimizing our environmental impact. This initiative also showcases our support towards India’s ambitious goal of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2070.”

      All five trucks are of Heavy-Duty category with battery capacity of 258 kWh with range of 185 kms which will offer smooth transition to electric logistics. The integration of electric trucks aligns with Epsilon Carbon’s broader sustainability goals, which includes reducing the carbon footprint of its operations and adopting greener technologies across the value chain and contributing to India’s larger climate action goals.
