EO Charging has entered administration, with administrators appointed to oversee the UK-based EV charging infrastructure, software, and maintenance provider.
The company, which operates as the trading name of Juuce Limited, had initiated an accelerated mergers and acquisitions (M&A) process in January amid increased deal activity in the UK EV charging sector. However, the process failed to result in a transaction, ultimately leading to the administration filing.
As part of its restructuring efforts, the company had scaled back international expansion plans across the US, Australia, New Zealand, and Italy. In November, it also sold its domestic EV charger hardware and manufacturing business to Cogent Technologies as part of a £25 million recapitalisation strategy, aiming to pivot toward a platform-led business model.
EO Charging primarily served supermarkets and commercial fleet operators in the UK, but ongoing financial challenges ultimately constrained its ability to sustain operations.
