Entuple E-Mobility has formed a joint venture with Aditya Auto to set up manufacturing facilities for supply of Electric Traction Hub and Mid-drive motors (48V) at Doddaballapur, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Entuple E-MobilityThe JV by Aditya Auto and Entuple E-Mobility will have a manufacturing capacity of 270,000 units per annum of Hub-motors and 225,000 units per annum of Mid-drive motors (48V) and would be funded through equity contributions by the two partners.

“These motors are completely designed and developed in-house at our R&D facilities in Bengaluru and Thiruvananthapuram and will be indigenously manufactured in this JV. We aim to bridge the gap in India’s EV value chain with our highly efficient and reliable powertrains catering to both domestic and foreign markets” said Rakesh Mishra, CEO, Entuple E-Mobility Private Limited.

The production for Hub-Motors and Mid drive motors is expected to commence from November and December respectively, as the joint venture’s Traction Motor plant gets commissioned.
