The strategic alliance between MS Dhoni-backed EMotorad and Booz Mobility to transform electric transportation is a major step towards India’s electric mobility ecosystem. This is the first time an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and a micro-mobility operator have worked together in India.

In accordance with this arrangement, Booz Mobility will only be able to purchase electric kick scooters from EMotorad, which will power the complete fleet of vehicles used by the business for intra-campus mobility in gated neighborhoods. Booz Mobility is the inaugural electric kick scooter fleet operator in Asia, catering to gated communities and providing metro areas with EV Fleet-As-A-Subscription services.

Kunal Gupta, CEO of EMotorad, highlighted the importance of the partnership, saying, “This collaboration aligns perfectly with our vision to shape the future of Indian electric transportation. Our Lil E kick scooters combine innovation, design, and performance, and we’re excited to start this journey with Booz Mobility.”

By the end of FY25, EMotorad aims to supply 500 electric kick scooters to Booz Mobility. These scooters will improve short-distance commuting within major cities and further Booz’s objective to provide environmentally  friendly mobility options.

Rutvij Dasadia, Founder of Booz Mobility, also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This collaboration will reshape how people view micro-mobility in India, addressing short commute challenges. By 2025, we aim to serve around 850 million square feet of gated premises with sustainable and efficient commuting solutions.”

It has positioned both companies as leaders in the future of intra-campus transportation.
