Electric motorcycle maker Stark Future has clinched the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship Manufacturers’ Title, making history as the first electric motorcycle brand to win the prestigious award in the series.
The SuperEnduro World Championship, one of the most demanding off‑road motorcycle competitions held indoors on technical tracks with obstacles, has traditionally been dominated by combustion‑engine manufacturers. This season, however, Stark Future’s VARG EX electric bikes helped the company outperform long‑established rivals, including Husqvarna and Triumph, to secure the top spot in the manufacturers’ standings.
Riders Eddie Karlsson and Toby Martyn competed aboard the Stark VARG EX, finishing fourth and fifth overall in the championship, respectively. Their consistent performances throughout the season were key to Stark’s title‑winning effort.
Stark’s Racing Director described the achievement as a major milestone for both the team and electric off‑road racing. The victory demonstrates that electric motorcycles are capable of competing at the highest levels alongside traditional internal‑combustion bikes.
The SuperEnduro World Championship season concluded with strong performances across multiple rounds, culminating in the final event in Douai, France, where Stark sealed enough points to claim the manufacturers’ crown.
This success highlights the growing competitiveness of electric motorcycle technology in top‑tier motorsport and signals a shift in perception toward electric machinery in racing.
