The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has awarded EKA Mobility two orders totaling over ₹150 crore. Thirty EKA 9, 9-meter AC electric buses and forty EKA 12, 12-meter AC electric buses are included in the orders for supply and maintenance. With eco-friendly features that put safety, passenger comfort, and operational efficiency first, these cars are meant to improve UPSRTC’s fleet. Additionally, the business will supply chargers to ensure seamless operations. A long-term annual maintenance contract (AMC) is included in both projects to guarantee steady performance over the following ten years.

EKA Mobility’s Chief Growth Officer, Rohit Srivastava, stated the company’s dedication to collaborating with UPSRTC to enhance Uttar Pradesh’s public transit system. He said that EKA Mobility’s emphasis on providing effective and sustainable mobility solutions in India is reflected in the orders.

It is anticipated that these recent additions to UPSRTC’s fleet would help the state transition to more sustainable and clean transportation systems.

A variety of electric buses, including 9- and 12-meter models, are available from EKA Mobility for use in intercity and urban transportation. To guarantee optimum performance and passenger comfort, these cars have cutting-edge electric drivetrains, energy-efficient designs, and safety features. To help its clients run smoothly, the company offers long-term maintenance agreements and charging options in addition to manufacturing.

In order to produce electric buses for public transportation, the company has partnered with both private operators and state transport corporations. In order to ensure effective deployment and operations, its projects frequently involve full support, such as fleet management services and charger installations.
