Leading electric vehicle and technology business EKA Mobility joyfully celebrated the launch of its ten electric buses in Arunachal Pradesh, which was presided over by Shri Pema Khandu Ji, the state’s honourable chief minister. This event represented a critical milestone in India’s green mobility path.
Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) organised a tender that resulted in the delivery of these electric buses to Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services (APSTS). These 9-metre electric AC buses, which have a 900mm floor height, are made to be easily accessible and to operate at their best on the special terrain and intra-city routes of Arunachal Pradesh.
The Chief Growth Officer and Business Head of EKA Mobility, Mr. Rohit Srivastava, stated, “We are proud to support Arunachal Pradesh’s ambition for a greener future. As a testament to our dedication to sustainable indigenous innovation suited for various Indian geographies, we are pleased to develop and manufacture our vehicles in India.”
This deployment strengthens the national objective of sustainable and inclusive urban transport by placing Arunachal Pradesh among the increasing number of Indian states spearheading the adoption of electric mobility. The World Environment Day flag-off is a potent reminder of the importance of cooperation and creativity in preserving the environment. EKA Mobility is still dedicated to providing India with cutting-edge, environmentally friendly, and safe EV mobility solutions.
