Swedish freight technology company Einride has strengthened its executive leadership by appointing Anubhav Verma as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), a strategic move as the company accelerates toward its planned U.S. public listing in early 2026. The announcement comes as Einride prepares for significant global expansion across electric and autonomous freight solutions.
Einride confirmed that Verma will assume his role in January 2026, bringing extensive financial expertise from the automotive, industrial, and deep-tech sectors. He most recently served as CFO of MicroVision, a U.S.-based LiDAR and sensor technology firm, where he oversaw major financial operations and corporate strategy. Verma also previously held senior financial leadership positions at Exela Technologies, where he played a key role in managing a large-scale $2.8 billion SPAC reverse merger, giving him valuable experience relevant to Einride’s upcoming listing.
According to Einride’s CEO Roozbeh Charli, Verma’s background aligns perfectly with the company’s next phase of growth. His track record in managing complex financial transformations and cross-border operations is expected to support Einride’s rapid expansion in the U.S. and Europe. Charli noted that Verma’s experience with SPAC transactions and capital markets will be instrumental as the company scales its autonomous and electric freight offerings.
The company is currently pursuing a SPAC merger with Legato Merger Corp III, valuing Einride at approximately $1.8 billion pre-money, with the deal expected to close ahead of its U.S. debut. Einride aims to use the capital infusion to expand technology development, strengthen operational capabilities, and accelerate deployments of its autonomous “pods” and electric freight fleets across key global markets.
The leadership transition underscores Einride’s commitment to strengthening its financial and strategic foundation as demand for sustainable logistics solutions continues to grow. With Verma onboard, the company is positioning itself to capitalize on increasing interest in zero-emission freight technology and autonomous mobility.
