E-Fuel has unveiled its latest innovation: a 20kW portable DC charger designed and developed entirely in India. Equipped with wheels for easy mobility and a display to monitor charging parameters, this charger is ideal for home and fleet use where commercial use is not required.

E-Fuel, which has recently scaled its manufacturing capacity to 20,000 chargers annually, continues to drive innovation in the EV space. Himanshu Patel, Founder of E-Fuel, remarked, “We’ve seen 3x growth over the last two financial years, and we are anticipating revenue of ₹12-15 crore this year as major OEM orders come through.”

      Key Features:

      Cost Effective & Design:

The focus is on its cost-effectiveness, suggesting that it provides a competitive price while maintaining high functionality. Its portability ensures it can be easily transported and utilized in different settings, catering to the needs of users looking for a convenient charging solution.

      Flexible Option:

In terms of flexibility, the charger offers an output of 20kW at 67A, which is capable of delivering a substantial amount of power for charging electric vehicles. It is designed to be stylish, ergonomic, and customizable, making it adaptable to different user needs. The charger supports CCS-2 charging cables, which are widely used for electric vehicle charging, enhancing its compatibility with different EV models.

      Safety:

The device features an emergency stop button with 18 different types of protection measures, ensuring the user’s safety during operation. Additionally, its robust IK10/IP54 ingress protection makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, providing durability against environmental factors.

      Simple Operation:

This section focuses on the user-friendly operation of the charger. It can be easily controlled with RFID cards for starting and stopping the charging process. The Simple HMI (Human-Machine Interface) is equipped with LED indicators, providing clear, intuitive feedback to the user. The charger also includes over-temperature protection, ensuring safety during extended use or in high-temperature conditions.

This marks a significant step for E-Fuel in supporting the adoption of electric vehicles with homegrown solutions.
