A Multi-Vehicle Simulator (MVS) has been added to CNH’s India Technology Centre (ITC) located in Gurugram, Haryana.

According to the business, it is the first MVS of its sort in the Indian off-highway market and will be essential to CNH’s international operations. This will be a crucial platform for several operations, such as employee training, customer clinics, design reviews for product development teams, ergonomics simulation, and user experience testing of controls.

“Our India Technology Centre (ITC) has been expanded and improved, demonstrating our steadfast dedication to innovation and utilising India’s abundant talent pool. This calculated action is a reflection of our commitment to using our superior knowledge to push technical innovation in the building and agriculture industries in the area. A key component of CNH’s dedication to providing our clients with products is the ITC. Our sustainability aims are further supported by this technical innovation, which helps us test and evaluate our products in the virtual world before constructing a prototype or testing them in the actual world. This helps us decrease waste and enhance quality.,” said Friedrich Eichler, Chief Technology Officer at CNH.

Advanced features of the simulator include multiple display screens, virtual reality headsets and devices, body tracking sensors, software that integrates software and hardware, capture and replay systems for audio and video conferences, and an adjustable frame that can mimic different types of taxis.

“Our R&D capabilities at the ITC have advanced significantly with the addition of the new Multi-Vehicle Simulator. Its features and broad range of applications will enable our teams to create and improve our goods in response to our customers’ changing needs. This initiative is a step closer to CNH’s goal of positioning India as a major hub for industry as well as a leading place for technology.” said Ashish Sharma, Vice President and Managing Director – ITC, CNH.

The company also announced an expansion of the ITC in Gurugram with a new floor, spanning 32,000 square feet and equipped with high-tech amenities, including three R&D labs as well as collaborative work areas. The modern design and advanced technology in this new space will enhance the working environment and boost the productivity of the teams.
