For the Metropolitan Transport Corporation in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, the Institute of Road Transport’s Central Purchase Unit has opened a tender for the supply, operation, and maintenance of 100 12-meter low-floor AC electric buses and charging solutions. The tender also includes depot improvement works.
The tender project, which has a value of INR 2,50,00,000, intends to improve sustainability and modernise the city’s public transit system.
