In Bengaluru, the capital of the southern state of Karnataka, ChargeZone has established the biggest EV charging station in India. The business is profiting from EVs’ growing appeal in the so-called “Silicon Valley of India“.
Up to 210 EVs may be charged at once thanks to the new charging station in Bengaluru, which has 50 AC chargers and 80 DC fast chargers with twin charging guns. Because of this configuration, it has more charging stations than any other facility in India.
One of India’s most potent charging stations is the new ChargeZone location in Bengaluru. With a total installed capacity of over 4 megawatts, it supports the adoption of EVs even in high-emission vehicle categories by serving not just cars but also heavy-duty trucks and intercity buses. The business has provided enough room for big electric cars.
Customers can fully charge their EVs at the new charging station in 35 to 45 minutes, according to the CPO, who runs it around the clock. Although the corporation expects little waiting time with more than 200 charging stations, waiting lounges have been constructed at the facility as a precaution.
Kartikey Hariyani, the founder and CEO of ChargeZone, stated, “This hub represents a significant milestone in our mission to advance India’s electric mobility.” “It is a complete ecosystem designed to satisfy the changing needs of electric vehicle users across the country; it is more than just a charging station,” he continued.
Even in the United Arab Emirates, ChargeZone has the biggest network of EV charging stations in India. Between the two nations, the company has more than 1,200 locations with over 13,500 charging stations. It specialises in constructing electric vehicle, bus, and truck fast charging stations, and it is establishing these infrastructures along major highways as well as in urban areas.
In April 2025, there were roughly 5,880 charging stations and 273,000 EVs in Bengaluru. By 2030, more than 2.3 million EVs should be on Indian roads, according to the Centre for Study of Science, Technology, and Policy, a think tank.
