India’s mobility and transportation sector has received a major digital boost with the launch of ChallanPay, a unified national platform for traffic challan discovery, tracking, and resolution. Developed by Lawyered, one of India’s leading legal-tech solution providers, the platform has already resolved 98% of over ₹350 crore worth of challans within just two months—setting a new benchmark for mobility compliance and legal-tech efficiency.

ChallanPay aims to eliminate long-standing challenges in India’s fragmented and time-consuming traffic penalty system. With over 8 crore challans issued annually and nearly 85% remaining unpaid, the country’s compliance infrastructure faces chronic delays that impact citizens, authorities, and businesses. ChallanPay simplifies the entire process by consolidating national, state, and RTO-level databases onto a single interface, offering real-time challan discovery, instant payment options, and guided legal support for contesting cases.

Himanshu Gupta, Founder & CEO of Lawyered, highlighted the platform’s mission, stating,

“ChallanPay is building the default rail of mobility compliance. By unifying data, payments, and legal workflows, we are making traffic compliance simpler, faster, and significantly more consumer-friendly.”

The platform serves both individual vehicle owners and fleet operators, enabling them to manage multiple challans across different states without approaching separate portals, lawyers, or courts. From two-wheelers and private cars to commercial fleets, users can now track and resolve fines from cities like Delhi, Manali, and Chandigarh through a single streamlined dashboard.

ChallanPay’s strong early adoption reflects India’s increasing demand for smart mobility legal solutions. By reducing resolution times from months to days, the platform significantly lowers opportunity costs and supports authorities in clearing pending challan backlogs. As Lawyered expands its Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions, ChallanPay is emerging as a critical digital infrastructure layer empowering India’s mobility ecosystem with transparency, efficiency, and nationwide compliance.
