Can-Am has officially unveiled its 2026 off-road lineup, introducing groundbreaking innovations including its first-ever electric ATV and the industry’s first semi-active suspension system for all-terrain vehicles. The announcement marks a major milestone in the company’s mission to combine performance, sustainability, and advanced technology in off-road mobility.
The highlight of the lineup is the Outlander Electric, powered by the Rotax E-Power system, delivering 47 hp, 53 lb-ft of torque, and a range of up to 50 miles. The ATV supports fast charging, reaching 20% to 80% in just 50 minutes, while retaining a towing capacity of 1,830 lbs, making it a versatile option for eco-conscious riders.
Another standout is the Outlander MAX 6×6, built for rugged terrains with a 999 cc Rotax V-Twin engine producing 101 hp and 69 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with SHOWA shocks, 30-inch tyres, and beadlock wheels, it offers unmatched utility and off-road performance.
For the first time, Can-Am introduces semi-active Smart-Shox suspension on the Outlander XT-P and MAX Limited models. This adaptive system automatically adjusts compression and rebound in real time, with selectable modes including Comfort, Sport, Work, and Comfort 2-Up.
The company also launched the Maverick R X RC, designed specifically for rock crawling. With an extra-low gear, a ROCK mode differential, 35-inch tyres, and reinforced components, it is engineered for extreme terrains like Moab and Rubicon trails.
In addition, the Maverick X3 has been upgraded with LED lighting, a 10.25-inch touchscreen display with GPS and Group Ride features, and a new X Turbo package that includes premium accessories such as a roof, winch, bumper, and half doors.
With these launches, Can-Am continues to push the boundaries of off-road performance, blending electrification, innovation, and rider-focused design to set new benchmarks in the ATV and side-by-side segment.
