Bolt.Earth, India’s largest EV charging network, announced a strategic partnership with Ather Energy, one of India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturers. This partnership enables Ather riders to seamlessly discover LECCS-enabled Blaze DC fast chargers on the Ather App and scooter dashboard. Ather riders can book and charge directly via the Bolt.Earth EV Charging App. This integration marks a major step in making fast charging simple, predictable and widely accessible for LECCS enabled EV 2Ws across India.

Through this strategic partnership, more than 195 Blaze DC 3 kW fast chargers with Type 7 connectors (LECCS standard) are immediately available, in 100+ cities – including the cities of Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Kochi, and Kozhikode. Blaze DC chargers deliver ultra-fast charging, with up to 40 km of range, in 15 minutes, significantly reducing downtime and easing daily commutes. This collaboration ensures further access to a larger network of fast chargers for Ather’s scooters, across India.

In the upcoming months, Bolt.Earth will expand its charging options for LECCS-Type 7-compatible two-wheelers and three-wheelers with the launch of 6kW and 12kW Blaze DC, ensuring that riders in both urban and high-density routes have reliable access to fast charging. The collaboration will also strengthen Bolt.Earth’s open-network approach, ensuring that charging infrastructure keeps pace with the fast adoption of electric two-wheelers in India. With real-time charger discovery and network availability on the go, the collaboration is intended to directly address range anxiety issues, effectively and provide for a seamless EV ownership experience.

Commenting on the partnership, S. Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO & Co- Founder, Bolt.Earth, said, “Easy access to fast charging is the cornerstone of a truly scalable EV ecosystem in India. It should feel as natural as refueling: quick, simple and always within reach. Our partnership with Ather Energy is transforming that to a reality, bringing reliable fast charging to riders across 100+ cities. By integrating LECCS-enabled Blaze DC chargers nationwide, we are ensuring uncompromised convenience and speed at scale. This is about building confidence in everyday journeys and making India’s EV transition effortless for everyone.“

The collaboration marks an important milestone in advancing fast-charging adoption for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers, particularly in cases where quick turnaround times are essential.

Speaking on the occasion, Aravind Prasad, Head of Charging Infrastructure, Ather Energy, said, “Making charging simple and dependable is key to a good EV ownership experience. Collaborations such as this with Bolt.Earth extend that ease, over and beyond our own charging network, giving Ather riders more places to charge, whilst keeping the experience predictable and seamless. This is an important step towards making every day riding feel effortless for customers.“

This partnership reflects the shared vision of Bolt.Earth and Ather Energy, which is to accelerate EV adoption in India, by removing charging barriers, reducing range anxiety and creating a more connected, rider-first ecosystem.
