Bolt.Earth and Simple Energy have announced a strategic collaboration to strengthen India’s electric two-wheeler fast-charging ecosystem. The partnership enables full compatibility of Simple Energy’s Gen 2 vehicles with Bolt.Earth’s Blaze DC fast chargers.

All Simple Energy Gen 2 models are now compatible with Bolt.Earth’s Blaze DC Type-6 chargers (LEVDC standard), offered in 3kW and 6kW variants. The move is aimed at providing riders with reliable and efficient fast-charging access across the country. Compatibility for Gen 1 vehicles will be introduced through an upcoming Simple Energy software update, expanding fast-charging support to a broader customer base.

Bolt.Earth currently operates 270+ Blaze DC chargers across 100+ cities in India. Riders can locate and access these chargers through the Bolt.Earth EV Charging App, ensuring a seamless charging experience. Integration of charger discovery within the Simple Connect App is also under development to deliver a more unified and intuitive user interface.

The collaboration underscores both companies’ focus on scaling next-generation EV infrastructure and improving rider convenience. By combining Simple Energy’s vehicle platform with Bolt Earth’s expanding DC fast-charging network, the partnership aims to accelerate mainstream EV adoption in the two-wheeler segment.

      S. Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO and Founder of Bolt.Earth, said the partnership aligns with the company’s mission to make EV charging accessible, reliable and future-ready. “Fast charging is critical to mainstream EV adoption, and this collaboration is a step closer to making that a reality, giving riders the convenience and confidence on every journey,” he said.
