The BMW CE 02 electric two-wheeler is now being offered at heavily discounted prices by select BMW Motorrad dealerships across India. While the official ex-showroom price remains unchanged at ₹4.49 lakh, dealer-level offers have brought the effective on-road price down to as low as ₹2.50 lakh in some cities.
Mumbai-based outlet is quoting an on-road price of approximately ₹2.50 lakh for the standard variant. Similarly, a Bengaluru dealership is offering the Highline trim at around ₹3 lakh on-road. These prices are significantly lower than the standard on-road cost and are being described as limited-period offers, subject to stock availability.
It is important to note that these are not official price cuts from BMW Motorrad India. The discounts are being provided at the dealer level and may vary depending on location and inventory. Interested customers are advised to contact their nearest BMW Motorrad dealership for exact pricing details.
Positioned as an ‘eParkourer’
Launched in 2024, the BMW CE 02 is marketed as an ‘eParkourer’ rather than a traditional scooter or motorcycle. It targets young urban riders looking for a premium and distinctive electric mobility option. The CE 02 does not have a direct rival in the Indian market due to its unique styling and positioning.
At the revised effective pricing, the CE 02 competes with other premium electric two-wheelers such as the TVS X, priced at ₹2.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), the Ather 450 Apex starting at ₹1.89 lakh, and the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 priced at ₹2.99 lakh.
Performance and Features
The CE 02 is powered by a 3.92 kWh battery pack paired with an 11 kW (15 hp) electric motor producing 55 Nm of torque. It offers a claimed range of 108 km and a top speed of 95 km/h. The scooter can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 3 seconds. Charging time from 0 to 100 percent stands at 3 hours and 30 minutes for the Highline variant.
Feature highlights include USD forks, Automatic Stability Control (ASC), LED lighting, a 3.5-inch TFT display, Type-C USB charging port, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ride and reversing assist. The Highline trim further adds heated grips, an additional Flash riding mode, an external quick charger and an integrated smartphone holder.
BMW also offers the more premium BMW CE 04 in India, priced at ₹15.25 lakh.
With substantial dealer discounts now available, the BMW CE 02 could attract buyers seeking a premium electric two-wheeler at a significantly reduced price point.
