With the delivery of its LNG-powered heavy-duty vehicles to Inland World Logistics, the logistics behemoth took its first step towards sustainable transportation, further solidifying its position as India’s freight decarbonisation leader.

This calculated delivery further solidifies Blue Energy Motors position as a leader in transportation technology that is efficient, clean, and ready for the future. By making Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) an affordable and sensible option for all client segments, Blue Energy Motors advances its goal of decarbonising Indian trucking.

These LNG trucks are a game-changer for fleets looking for ESG-aligned efficiency since they offer 30% lower CO₂ emissions and much lower operating costs without sacrificing payload or power.

At a ceremony held at the Blue Energy Motors, Chakan Plant in Pune, the vehicles were turned over. Blue Energy Motors keeps growing its presence in heavy-duty alternative fuel trucks, with more than 800 LNG trucks on Indian highways that have travelled more than 50 million kilometres, reducing 14,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions, which is equal to the yearly carbon absorption of more than 560,000 trees.

“We are honoured to spearhead the clean transportation movement in India and collaborate with forward-thinking businesses like Inland that value sustainable development as much as we do. With much fewer emissions and a lower overall cost of ownership, our trucks provide a strong substitute for diesel.” Anirudh Bhuwalka, CEO of Blue Energy Motors, stated, “This reflects our commitment to enable cleaner mobility at scale—fleet by fleet, region by region.”

Mr Praveen Somani, Managing Director, Inland World Logistics, stated, “We believe that the future of logistics lies in green mobility, and transitioning to LNG is a crucial step in that direction. Blue Energy Motors stood out for us—not just for their product innovation, but for their clear commitment to making sustainable trucking viable and accessible. These trucks align with our vision of reducing our carbon footprint while ensuring efficiency and performance on long hauls.”

With growing momentum in India’s adoption of cleaner fuels, especially across long-haul trucking corridors, Blue Energy Motors continues to play a pivotal role in building the green transport ecosystem—through product innovation, partnerships, and expanding refuelling infrastructure in collaboration with industry stakeholders.
