The Sustainability Business of Schneider Electric and Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. have partnered to improve energy efficiency and expand the use of renewable energy throughout the company’s activities. Up to 13.6 MW of solar electricity will be installed across six important production facilities in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh as part of this strategic cooperation, which is in line with Bisleri’s Greener Promise.

Through this program, Bisleri hopes to improve energy efficiency across all of its plants by 2.5 percent and raise its green energy usage to over 33 percent. It is anticipated that the switch to solar energy will lower carbon emissions by about 16,000 tons per year.

“Our partnership with Schneider Electric demonstrates our dedication to sustainable solutions and the financial advantages of renewable energy,” stated Bisleri International CEO Angelo George. “This project is an important step in reaching our sustainability objectives.”

“We are committed to empowering companies to lessen their environmental impact by implementing cleaner and smarter energy solutions,” said Deepak Sharma, MD & CEO of Schneider Electric India, Zone President, Greater India, underscoring the significance of this partnership. “We applaud Bisleri’s dedication to sustainability and anticipate maximizing their use of renewable energy.”

The business has already installed rooftop solar panels under Bisleri’s Greener Promise, and they currently provide 2.5 percent of its energy requirements. Additionally, it has successfully reduced its annual CO2 footprint by 15,000 tons through Phase 1 of its PET bottle lightweighting effort.
