Bijliride, one of India’s fastest-growing electric two-wheeler rental platforms, has announced a strategic partnership with BGauss, a leading electric scooter manufacturer. This collaboration will support Bijliride’s expansion across major Indian cities, scaling its rental and enterprise fleet while promoting sustainable urban mobility.

Under the agreement, BGauss will supply high-performance electric scooters, including models like the C12i Max and Oowah, to become a core part of Bijliride’s growing fleet.

Fleet Expansion Plans: Scaling to 10,000 EVs

Bijliride currently operates a fleet of 3,000 EVs. Through this partnership, the company plans to add 7,000 BGauss electric scooters, reaching a total of 10,000 vehicles by December 2026. The vehicles are designed for durability, rider comfort, and operational efficiency, supporting both individual riders and gig workers.

Phase 1 of the rollout focuses on Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi NCR, cities selected for their high demand in last-mile logistics, shared mobility, and urban commuting.

      Full-Stack Mobility Platform Enhances Operations

Bijliride functions as a full-stack mobility-tech company, offering:

      • IoT-enabled fleet management

      • Smart battery charging and swapping

      • Centralized dashboards for predictive maintenance

      • 24×7 on-road and charging assistance

These systems help maintain a fleet uptime of over 95%, ensuring seamless rental experiences and operational reliability.

BGauss Scooters: Designed for Urban Mobility

The BGauss scooters deployed in Bijliride’s fleet come equipped with:

      • Removable lithium-ion batteries for easy charging and swapping

      • Extended range for urban and logistics use cases

      • Robust suspension and weather-resistant designs

      • Smart connectivity features for fleet tracking and monitoring

These capabilities make the scooters ideal for city commuting, last-mile delivery, and enterprise mobility solutions.

      Leadership Perspective on the Partnership

Shivam Sisodiya, CEO & Co-Founder of Bijliride, stated:

“Our objective is clear: to make electric mobility reliable and convenient at scale. BGauss’s focus on engineering quality and rider comfort complements our full-stack mobility platform, enabling us to deliver a seamless EV rental experience across high-impact urban markets.”

      Future Expansion Plans

Looking ahead, Bijliride aims to expand operations to 10+ cities by the end of 2026, scaling both B2B fleet partnerships and B2C rental services. The partnership with BGauss reinforces the company’s commitment to building a connected, reliable, and economically sustainable EV ecosystem for everyday urban mobility in India.
