Bijliride, one of India’s fastest-growing two-wheeler electric vehicle (EV) rental platforms, has announced a major expansion into three of the country’s largest urban markets—Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in the company’s national growth roadmap for FY 2025–26, following its strong traction in Hyderabad.
With this expansion, Bijliride aims to make clean, affordable, and technology-driven mobility accessible to millions of urban commuters across India’s busiest cities.
Aggressive Fleet Expansion Across Three Metro Cities
As part of the first phase of its multi-city rollout, Bijliride plans to deploy a total of 6,500 electric two-wheelers, including
-
2,500 EVs in Bengaluru
-
1,500 EVs in Mumbai
-
2,500 EVs in Delhi NCR
This will be in addition to the company’s existing 3,500-strong fleet in Hyderabad. The company also plans to scale up further over the next six months based on demand, utilisation trends, and customer adoption.
Designed for Daily Commuters, Students and Gig Workers
Bijliride’s expansion strategy focuses on enabling affordable and reliable EV access for:

To support the large-scale deployment, Bijliride is significantly strengthening its OEM partnerships. While 60–70% of the fleet will remain company-owned, the remaining 30–40% of vehicles will be deployed through strategic partnerships, including an expanded collaboration with BGauss and other leading EV manufacturers.
The new fleet will feature:
