India’s flagship clean energy platform, Bharat Electricity 2025, in partnership with POWERGEN India and Indian Utility Week, is set to unite policymakers, regulators, utilities, innovators, and investors to accelerate the nation’s transition toward sustainable power. Scheduled from 2 to 4 September 2025 at Yashobhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi, the event aims to align policy, technology, and industry action to shape a modern and inclusive energy ecosystem.

      National Platform with Government Backing

The event enjoys active support from multiple government ministries, including the Ministries of Power, New & Renewable Energy, Environment, Jal Shakti, Electronics & IT, External Affairs, Heavy Industries, and MSME, the latter of which will host a special pavilion for micro & small enterprises. This multi-ministerial engagement reinforces the platform’s position as India’s premier energy convergence, directly supporting the government’s vision for energy security, sustainability, and affordability.

Guided by the theme “Viksit Bharat: Transforming Energy, Transforming Lives”, the forum will highlight pathways in grid modernisation, renewable integration, energy storage, hydrogen, digital public infrastructure, and consumer-centric reforms. Senior Union Ministers, including Shri Manohar Lal (Power & Housing) and Shri Pralhad Joshi (New & Renewable Energy), have been invited to inaugurate the event, reflecting the government’s strong commitment to a sustainable energy future.

      Steering India’s Energy Leadership

The event is guided by a Governing Council chaired by Shri Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, IAS (Retd.), Former Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. Co-chairs include Shri Ghanshyam Prasad (CEA) and Dr Praveer Sinha (Tata Power), alongside a distinguished panel of leaders from utilities, renewable energy, energy finance, technology, and policy, including NTPC, Power Grid, Suzlon, ReNew, GE Vernova, Accenture, EY, and more.

      Leadership Perspective

Shri P.K. Pujari, IAS (Retd.), Honorary Chairperson of ENCIS, said:

“Bharat Electricity, POWERGEN India & Indian Utility Week 2025 is not just a conference—it is the crucible where India’s clean energy ambitions are translated into concrete pathways. By bringing policymakers, global innovators, and industry leaders together, this platform will be pivotal in driving alignment, accelerating investment, and building a resilient power sector.”

      Scale and Impact

The combined events are expected to attract over 10,000 participants from government, industry, and international markets. More than 250 exhibitors will showcase innovations across 12,500 square metres, featuring live demonstrations in clean energy, digital grids, hydrogen, and energy storage technologies.

      Catalyzing India’s Energy Future

As India pursues a 500 GW non-fossil energy target by 2030 and Net Zero by 2070, Bharat Electricity 2025 will serve as a critical platform to forge partnerships, mobilise innovation, and advance the country’s clean energy transition, establishing India as a global leader in sustainable power.
