Virtus Motors unveiled their newest product, the BH1M electric two-wheeler, at an exhibition held from April 19–21, 2024, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The BH1M is an affordable and agile electric two-wheeler that is well-suited for gig workers, local deliveries, and urban cargo transit. It is designed for B2B users, livelihood-oriented individuals, and gig economy workers.

With its impressive 160 mm ground clearance, 120 km of battery life, and a top speed of 55 kmph, the BH1M is a high-performing device at a reasonable price. With features like GPS, onboard navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and over-the-air upgrades, Virtus Motors markets the BH1M as a formidable rival to electric scooters like the e-Luna.

Tushaar Bajaj, Co-Founder and Director of Virtus Motors, remarked, “The gig economy is flourishing in India, creating significant demand for cost-effective electric vehicles tailored to delivery and ride-sharing services. The BH1M is purpose-built to meet this demand, offering ample power, range, and cargo capacity to support the mobility needs of gig workers.”

Vivek Shettigar, Co-Founder and Director of Virtus Motors, added, “We are continuously innovating to develop EVs that make transportation more affordable, efficient, and sustainable. The BH1M represents a breakthrough blend of performance, utility, and value for the rapidly expanding gig economy market.”

Equipped with a 1500W Hub Motor, the BH1M delivers sufficient power for urban commutes. Its AIS-156 Lithium Battery provides a range of 120 km per charge, enabling extended journeys without frequent recharging. Features like the LED Instrument Cluster, telescopic front suspension, and swing arm with hydraulic shocks ensure a smooth and comfortable ride. With three drive modes (Eco, City, Power), riders can customize their experience to suit their preferences. The inclusion of 16″ steel rims and drum brakes (front/rear) enhances durability and safety on the road.

Beyond performance, the BH1M offers advanced functionalities including an Anti-theft Alert System, Geo-Fencing, Mobile App Integration, Onboard Navigation, Reverse Mode, LED Display, Periodic Maintenance Alerts, LED Lights, and LED Instrument Cluster.

Headquartered in Faridabad, Haryana, Virtus Motors specializes in providing high-quality, affordable electric cycles and two-wheelers. Committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology and research, the company develops environmentally sustainable products accessible to all.
