Globos Osiguranje, a leading insurance provider in Serbia, has announced Beam Global’s first sponsorship agreement. As part of this agreement, Globos Osiguranje has sponsored five EV ARCTM solar-powered EV charging stations, which will offer free public electric vehicle (EV) charging and are currently installed at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, Serbia’s main international travel gateway.

Beam Global previously obtained an agreement with Belgrade Airport, a division of VINCI Airports, an operator of more than 70 airports in 14 countries worldwide, to operate the network in strategic locations at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport in order to support this sponsored Driving on Sunshine initiative. Additional collaboration with VINCI Airports will be taken into consideration.

The Belgrade Airport currently has five solar-powered EV ARCTM units available for public EV charging. The ability of each off-grid device to simultaneously charge many vehicles makes it a robust and sustainable option for the busy airport environment. The nearest parking lot to the terminal building, P1, Prime, is where the systems are located.

“With this sponsorship with Beam Global, we are honored to be leading the way in advancing sustainable energy solutions in Serbia,” stated Siniša Pratljačić, CEO of Globos Osiguranje. “We are making a significant contribution to our dedication to environmental responsibility and green innovation by sponsoring EV ARCTM products at one of Serbia’s most popular locations.”

In addition to improving Serbia’s green infrastructure, this first-of-its-kind collaboration shows how Beam Global can use owner-operator and sponsorship models to spread its distinctive EV charging solutions throughout the world.
