With an emphasis on sustainability and electrification, FC Bayern Munich’s top players and coaching staff have been given brand-new business cars for the current soccer season. Employees from Audi continued their relationship that has seen electric vehicles become the club’s fleet standard since 2020 as they turned over the keys to a variety of premium all-electric models at the Audi Piazza in Ingolstadt.

Audi SQ8 SUV e-tron2 models were among the cars given to prominent athletes, such as Harry Kane, Joshua+ Kimmich, head coach Vincent Kompany, and Manuel Neuer. Aleksandar Pavlović, an emerging talent, chosen the Audi Q4 e-tron, and rising star Jamal Musiala chose the Audi Q6 SUV e-tron. The fleet highlights Audi’s dedication to advancing electric vehicle use among the top soccer team in Germany.

With the statement, “As we move towards an electric future, FC Bayern’s professional players are important ambassadors, helping to inspire people about electric mobility with our all-electric models,” Audi CEO and FC Bayern Supervisory Board Member Gernot Döllner emphasized the significance of the 22-year partnership. Vice Chairman of FC Bayern Munich Michael Diederich underlined this idea, highlighting the team’s commitment to sustainability through its collaboration with Audi, which is in line with FC Bayern’s sustainability plan, “Mitnand.”

The official FC Bayern app is now available on the Audi Application Store as part of FC Bayern Munich and Audi’s extended collaboration, enabling supporters to stay in touch with their club while on the road. With live match updates, news, match reports, and access to special content like interviews and livestreams, the app is designed with in-car use in mind. It is available in a few Audi vehicles, such as the Audi Q6 e-tron, Audi A8, and others, that have the newest infotainment system (MIB 3).
