The most affordable scooter of the 35 series was launched by Bajaj in India. The company introduced the Chetak 3503 electric scooter, priced at Rs 1.10 lakh. Some features of the scooter are common to the earlier models of the 35 series. The scooter’s claimed range is 155 kilometers when the battery is charged.
The Bajaj Chetak 3503’s chassis is the same as the rest of the 35 series scooters. It is fitted with a 3.5kWh battery with a claimed 155km range. The scooter comes with a 35-liter boot since it uses the same chassis as the higher-end versions. The electric scooter is claimed to have a 63 kmph top speed.
Compared to the more expensive models, the Chetak 3503 has fewer features. Compared to the remaining 35 models, the scooter takes 3 hours and 25 minutes to charge from 0% to 80%, which is slightly slower. The Eco and Sports modes of riding are offered to the buyers. It features a metal body with hill-hold assist as well.
On the pricing front, Bajaj Chetak 3503 is the second-most affordable scooter of the company. The 2903 variant, powered by a 2.9kWh battery and a range of 123km, is the most budget-friendly Bajaj scooter. It is priced at Rs 98,498.
