In a significant step towards enhancing urban water management and cleanliness, Autocracy Machinery supplied two of its state-of-the-art Rudra AquaMax 13M5T Dual-Purpose Weed Harvester cum Trash Skimmer machines to the Irrigation & Flood Control Department, Government of Delhi, for deployment at Najafgarh Drain near Punjabi Bagh Pul. Government officials noted that these machines represent the largest capacity of their kind deployed in India so far, marking a major upgrade in the Delhi government’s efforts to strengthen water infrastructure and waste management capabilities.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by key dignitaries including Shri Pravesh Sahib Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Irrigation & Flood Control Department; Smt. Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, West Delhi; and Shri Kailash Gangwal, Hon’ble MLA, Madipur Assembly Constituency, along with senior government officials and local stakeholders.

This deployment marks a progressive move towards leveraging advanced, Made-in-India technology to tackle pressing urban challenges such as water pollution, clogged drains, and inefficient waste removal systems.

The Rudra AquaMax 13M5T is a self-propelled, dual-purpose machine built on a catamaran-based floating system, designed for efficient aquatic weed removal and floating waste collection. It operates efficiently across both shallow and deep water bodies, including drains, canals, and under-bridge areas. Its dual cutting system, comprising vertical and horizontal blades—ensures effective removal of dense vegetation, while a stainless-steel honeycomb conveyor system enables continuous collection and discharge of waste.

Powered by a robust 112 HP diesel engine, the machine offers a storage capacity of approximately 14.68 cubic metres per cycle and operates at a sailing speed of 5–7 km/h. Its high operational efficiency significantly reduces manual labour, accelerates cleaning timelines, and improves large-scale waste management outcomes.

Equipped with live HD camera surveillance and GPS tracking, the machine allows real-time monitoring and enhanced operational control, aligning with modern governance practices focused on transparency and efficiency.

Santhoshi Sushma Buddhiraju, CEO and Co founder of Autocracy Machinery  states “Cleaner water systems are essential for sustainable cities, and we’re committed to making that a reality through innovation.”

Laxman Vallakati, CTO and founder of Autocracy Machinery states “This is not just machinery, it’s a solution designed to transform how cities manage waste in water bodies.”

Speaking at the event, dignitaries emphasized the importance of adopting technology-driven solutions to improve environmental sustainability and public health. The deployment is expected to improve water flow, reduce pollution levels, and strengthen preparedness ahead of the monsoon season.

For Autocracy Machinery, this initiative reflects its continued commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for urban infrastructure challenges. By integrating performance, technology, and environmental responsibility, the company aims to play a pivotal role in building cleaner, more resilient cities.

As urban ecosystems continue to evolve, such interventions underscore the importance of public-private collaboration in driving meaningful impact and ensuring a cleaner, greener future for India.
