The 3.7 kWh battery pack that powers the Ather Rizta S has an IDC-rated range of 159 km between charges.

With a new model that features a 3.7 kWh battery pack and an IDC-rated range of 159 km, Ather has increased the Rizta’s range. There are currently four variations of the Rizta family thanks to the expansion. Bookings for the newest addition are already available, and customer deliveries are anticipated to start later this month. It is priced at Rs. 1,37,047 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Ather Rizta S’s packing hasn’t altered much, with important utility-based features including a 34-litre underseat compartment and the option for a 22-litre front-mounted storage unit if needed. The scooter still has one of the longest and widest seats in its class, and the seat measurements are the same.

They have a flat floorboard layout, which is an additional benefit. The full range of connected capabilities, including a seven-inch touchscreen, turn-by-turn navigation, AutoHold, FallSafe, Emergency Stop Signal, Alexa integration, Find My Scooter, and theft alerts, are available on the Ather Rizta S 3.7 kWh.

Additionally, it will function with Ather’s extensive fast-charging network, which currently spans more than 3,900 public locations throughout India, and it enables over-the-air updates. Ather claims that the Rizta continues to attract consistent demand in spite of EV supply chain issues, especially those related to shortages of magnets. Currently, the model accounts for more than 60% of Ather’s total sales.

Less than a year after its original market launch, the Ather series achieved the one lakh unit milestone earlier in 2025. The Rizta S 3.7 kWh model, which is supported by Ather’s Eight70 extended battery programme, has a battery warranty that lasts for eight years or 80,000 kilometres, whichever comes first, and a minimum battery health guarantee of 70%.

The Rizta S 3.7 kWh is priced at Rs. 1,37,258 in Mumbai, Rs. 1,37,999 in Bangalore, and Rs. 1,39,312 in Chennai. The new variant is positioned as a longer-range option beneath the top trims. Ravneet S. Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy Limited, had the following to say about the new launch:

“Families all around the nation have taken a great liking to the Rizta, and the recent achievement of selling one lakh scooters is evidence of the high demand we are witnessing. We are thrilled to present the Rizta S with a wider range as part of our continuous effort to broaden our product to meet various customer needs.”
