      Order to Supply 1K Astro NAVYA Bagged by Astro Motors

      Emerging Electric Vehicle firm, Astro Motors has won a purchase order to deliver 1000 units of its model, the Astro Triyaan NAVYA, the world’s first manual electric three-wheeler vehicle.

      SKS CleantechSeveral electric vehicles (EVs) manufactured by Astro Motors are currently undergoing a pilot run across various parts of India by logistics companies like SKS Cleantech and Loadex Supply Chain Solutions.

      Astro Motors‘ current model, the Astro Triyaan NAVYA, is a cargo three-wheeler L5 segment vehicle powered by a 10.2 kwh battery having a payload capacity of 635 kgs with a range of 120kms and an electronically limited top speed of 50 kmph.

      Vitan Jagada, Founder of Astro Motors,said, “We are elated with the success and response that we are receiving for our three-wheelers. While we see this as just the beginning of the EV market in India, we are already planning to increase our manufacturing capacities. In the ongoing pilot run of Astro Navya, the vehicle has been outperforming most of the three-wheelers in this space and can reach to the last mile of connectivity. Soon, we will also be delivering at least 3000 units to these companies, and we are in the final phase of the discussions.”

      The Astro NAVYA, is also the first three-wheeler electric vehicle to successfully conquer the world’s highest motorable road at Umling La Pass, located in Ladakh at 19,024 ft.

      The vehicles have effectively been tested across different terrains and weather conditions in various parts of India, demonstrating their capabilities of penetrating the EV market by delivering high-performance three-and reliable vehicles.

The government and policymakers are playing a proactive role in decarbonizing the e-commerce and logistics sectors and transitioning to electric mobility faster. As the future roadmap and infrastructure are being set up across states in India, we at Astro Motors are ready with the technology that will be needed to help increase the adoption of EV’s.,” added Kunal Chandra, Co-founder, Astro Motors.
