In celebration of World Environment Day, Greaves Electric Mobility, the e-mobility division of Greaves Cotton Limited, under its flagship 2W brand Ampere, continues to build momentum with its purpose-led campaign and new initiative — the ‘Ampere Zero Carbon Emission Warrior’. The campaign celebrates real individuals who are championing sustainable living and inspiring collective climate action through their everyday choices.
The Zero Carbon Emission Warrior campaign is a storytelling platform that puts the spotlight on individuals driving meaningful impact—whether through eco-conscious transport, green entrepreneurship, or community-led change. Ampere, with its range of electric two-wheelers, empowers this movement by enabling smarter, cleaner, and more responsible mobility.
Featured Warriors
- Sreenath Lakshmikanth, a national-level cyclist, promotes zero-emission lifestyles by choosing pedal power and green commuting.
- Harsha Tej (Muddy Fingers), founder of BlueDot NGO, has restored ecosystems and planted over 1.5 million trees — and now chooses Ampere scooters to further reduce his carbon footprint.
- Coming on 5th June – World Environment Day:
Kanika Dhankher, an artist, entrepreneur, and sustainability advocate, leads Fermoscape and its sub-brands, working with over 250 rural artisans to create heart-first, handmade, and environmentally responsible home décor and gifting solutions. Her work not only champions low-waste living but also generates sustainable rural livelihoods.
“This campaign isn’t just about EVs—it’s about individuals who are inspiring a culture shift. At Ampere, we believe true sustainability comes from everyday heroes who take conscious steps toward change. The Zero Carbon Emission Warrior campaign celebrates their stories and invites everyone to be part of the movement,” Greaves Electric Mobility.
The first leg of the Zero Carbon Emission Warrior campaign began with a bold youth-focused initiative — the Ampere Zero-Carbon Emission Innovation Challenge, launched at the Ooty Literature Festival in March 2025. Designed to ignite climate leadership among students, the challenge invited young minds from leading boarding schools across the Nilgiris to develop sustainability-driven projects focused on renewable energy, waste management, water conservation, green mobility, and environmental awareness. With the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve as both backdrop and inspiration, this educational initiative set the tone for a campaign rooted not just in storytelling, but in action and impact.
As Ampere continues to electrify India’s mobility landscape, it calls on all citizens to Take Charge — by making mindful choices, telling their own stories, and becoming part of a growing tribe of Zero Carbon Emission Warriors.
Be the change. Take Charge. Make Every Gully Electric.
